For those ready to take the next step in their collecting adventure...here is an IV calculator

LINK

Every pokemon can spawn with up to 15 extra stamina, attack, and defense.

Enter the information about your favorite pokemon into the calculator to see if yours has high IV or not.

My exeggutor is 95% perfect but has the wrong normal attack smh

My snorlax is 85-91% perfect..lol

What do the levels on the left indicate after you calculate it? Is it your level as a trainer or the pokes level?

Players will soon be able to trade Pokemon in Pokemon Go. Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke confirmed at today's Pokemon Go Panel at SDCC that players would be able to trade Pokemon in a future update, adding a classic feature to the mobile Pokemon game. The game will be released in a future update, after Hanke jokingly ensures "the servers stay up."

Trading has always been part of the Pokemon franchise, dating all the way back to Pokemon Red and Blue. Iconic Nintendo game designer Shigeru Miyamoto suggested that the games be split into two versions, each with its own set of Pokemon, to encourage trading between games.

Trading was also part of the Pokemon Go beta test, although it was limited to local trading only. Players in the beta could search for prospective trading partners nearby and basically solicit them for a trade, with responses coming in the form of yes or no answers. It's unknown if the final version will be limited to local training only, or if there will be a way to trade via the Internet.

John Hanke had previously confirmed that trading would be added to Pokemon Go, calling the system a "core element" to the game. Trading would also provide a way for players to obtain allegedly region locked Pokemon like Kangaskhan and Farfetch'd without having to travel all the way to Asia or Australia.

Just delete the 100 revives before.

Inventory management is part of any game.

Which I do now. Just another one of those things I wish I knew about earlier. Makes the whole "tap the bubble" process a useless mini game.

Yeah I guess I felt it at one point too.

Purchased pokeballs and coudlnt figure out why the transaction didn't go through. All because of my little backpack being topped out.

I'm up to level 12. Went to TownCentre today and there were Pokemon all over the place. Not many Pokestops, though, so I ran out of Pokeballs.. but I had a field day with catching them. I had as many as 6 Pokemon on my screen at once.. multiple times.

Servers seem stable now. Wonder when they'll turn the tracker back on? I saw a Venusaur on my little tracker bar but couldn't find it, and Pokevision wasn't working.

That's depressing. Pretty much everything I've evolved is in the 60% range. The stuff I didn't evolve is around the 92-80% range... but of course, they're XLs, which means they're going to be XSs and trash when I evolve them.

If they have high IVS they won't be trash. IVs persist thru evo.

XS and xl means nothing

I learned about the IV stuff off of Reddit. Luckily if you're low level it doesn't really matter. But anyway, if they are going to make those kinds of stats in the game, there should be a way to calculate them in game, quickly.. the need for a massive spreadsheet is dumb, imo.
