That's what downtown Charleston looks like as well. I hit up some pretty good stuff walking back from a bar to my car last night. May revisit tonight especially since... caved and bought some extra incbuators.

Hmm, maybe a Jolteon? It's going to fall within the ranges of all of the ones you currently have according to the calculator.
I have a 457 Squirtle and have enough candies to evolve all the way up to a Blastoise. Should I evolve or should I wait? I just turned level 20.

Damn the luck, I guess I got lucky with my Vaporeon yesterday. Named him Rainer and got the Vap.
I just got a 1544 CP Lapras from a 10km egg. Pretty pumped about that one.

So I'm walking outside today with a cell phone out. Cop pulls aside me and tells me to come over there. He then asks me how many total Pokemon I've caught. I tell him 65. He tells me to be safe and to look both ways before I cross the road. May be the nerdiest experience I've had.

There was once a trick where if you named your Eevee certain names before evolving you could basically choose what it evolved into.
Rainer=Vaporeon
Sparky=Jolteon
Pyro=Flareon
It apparently doesn't work anymore, though.

well...you can wait a few more levels and see if you can find a higher level Squirtle. Or you can evolve now and just got back to the Squirtle nest to farm for candies to level up the Blastoise.

Yea, from what I can tell, it makes zero difference if you power them up before or after you evolve. When you evolve them, they're at the same "level" before and after.
The main reason you want to evolve them first is to make sure they have the attack you want in the evolved form. Otherwise, you could waste stardust and candy powering them up only to be left with an evolved pokemon with shitty attacks.

I think I'm gonna go back tomorrow for a bit and if I don't find one higher, then I'm just gonna roll with this one. It's hard to be patient with this game
