Haven't seen one yet. Have 50 candy. Caught 3 wild Haunters but all were ~240 which is disappointing. Have a 468 Gastly hanging out waiting until better things come along.

The regional differences are pretty insane. Makes me want to do some Pokemon related travel to vary things up and see what else it out there. I wonder how much it varies intra-state as opposed to different regions of the country.

Well, if you're ever way the frick over here in Arizona, prepare your anus for Growlithes, Sandshrews, Charmanders, Geodudes, and Rhyhorns. Lot of Eevees here, too, but I suspect that's a rather common Pokemon.
Caught one Goldeen at the zoo and hatched a Magikarp...other than that, no water-based critters aside from a couple Vaporeons I evolved.

This man is 100% correct. I posted a link several pages ago from Reddit where one guy defeated a level 10 gym with 500 ish pidgeot I believe. It's all about dodging. I've taken down level 6 gyms with only one Pokemon, a 1800 vaporeon to be exact. Practice dodging and you can take down any gym no matter the level or high Pokemon on it.

Hatched four 5K eggs and a 10K egg today. Didn't get anything new 
I got a Bellsprout, Krabby, Meowth, Ekans and Dratini. At least the Dratini was strong and I can evolve it into a Dragonair. Still really disappointed, though. My egg luck has been nonexistent

Went from 18-20 between yesterday and today. Used a lucky egg to mass evolve and came short 10k cp before 21. Still 40k wasn't bad. The last 3 evees have been flareons :/
But I finally got my second 10k egg since like lvl 6 or so. So excited to hatch that.

Have you tried the naming cheat? I know some people were saying it wasn't working anymore, but I've evolved all 5 of mine correctly based on the names I gave them. Statistically that's highly improbable to randomly occur, so the naming thing is still working for me
