But what about the very real possibility that third party games will be all ports on PS3 since both the Xbox and PCs now run Windows meaning devs will develop for them first?

It's possible, but the difference in exclusives should be evident at the very least.

I am not denying that PS has sold a crap load more consoles prior to today but do you know how easy it is to manipulate online polls?
Places like 4chan and Reddit do it all of the time "for the LULZ" as they put it. I am just saying I wouldn't use that poll as the basis for your argument.

I would. It's a poll that received a TON of response by media. It meant something to a lot of people not just myself. It's as good a poll as any you would have ever found on such a topic prior to 12 noon today.
And if the poll didn't speak the truth THEN WHY DID XBOX SWITCH THEIR DRM POLICY? The writing is on the wall here, it couldn't be any more clearer. They saw the future of xbone failure and had to change quick. Kudos to them for doing so.

No it isn't. Reddit and 4Chan both had multiple threads where plenty of people admitted to manipulating it. That's what I was trying to tell you.

Moving to PC is the best thing for gamers that can afford it right now. The only thing you get with a console over a PC is a handful of exclusives and much higher prices. Spending the extra $300-400 difference from consoles to a quality gaming PC is so worth it.

Has nothing to do with used games. There is no console/platform royalty for pc games. That is about $7-10 per game.

Everyone blew up when the iPad came out, when the iPhone came out, etc.
Now the lemmings follow each other to the Apple store 24/7. Just because people think something new is stupid doesn't mean it wont make an arse ton of money and be loved in the future.

I moved away from the PC because of the ease of group gaming. Not having to deal with vent anymore and that jazz. My PC is still top of the line so it wont be a huge deal to switch, I'm just disappointed because I thought MS was trying to blaze a path with some really cool stuff. Oh well, back to the WASD movement. Hope I haven't lost my touch.

Yeah, price as well as the ease of console gaming is what kept me away, but now that I can afford it and PC gaming has become so much better, I'm ready to make the move. With Xbox now changing its console to basically Xbox 360 2.0, I know I won't be missing anything save for a few exclusives, although I got incredibly bored with Xbox exclusives.

Yes but you forgot something very important, those were Apple product not Microsoft. Consumer confidence is incredibly important.

OMg, how amazing is this. We've been so pissed and completely turned off to Microsoft for the past few days, while you one of their biggest supporters on here has now just been completely alienated by them.
