No they haven't but they have this new Mario Kart TV angle that's actually really nice. It;s limited, but it lets you upload highlight reels of races to the internet and to their app.
But the whole presentation screams of the Madden change to ESPN integration, there's a "TV Livecast" feel to the game, so the absence of an announcer is kind of unnatural. That would be my only complaint so far.
Granted, that's a minor nitpicky complaint, but that change to a more "sports tv" feel is awesome.

Action commentary either during the race or in these highlight clips at the end of the race. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong on it
But the presentation makes the game feel eerily silent even though the music is outstanding.

Parents won it at a work event last Christmas and gave it to me. When I finally got around to hooking it up, it didn't work. Nintendo told me to send it in for free repair, but I guess I didn't care enough to do it.

Getting coins in first sucks, haha. At least give me a banana!
They are fine. Two grand prixs and a total of 2 blue shell hits. And at 50cc I was comfortably in 1st place for the majority of races.
However, I really like the Petey item. I got it once.
