I have been learning ad carry and jng, and I was really good at trytop in my early 10s, so I'm sure if I needed I could pull that back out (have experience with riven and trydamere) - people just never want to support and I've been a tank player since EQ, it just comes more naturally

So.. play a tank top laner or jungler.
Maokai, Sion, Amummu, Nautilus, Shyvanna, Trundle.
As a tank in the top lane, you will be a much bigger asset to your team. Supports are starved gold throughout much of the game, but in the top lane you get solo experience for levels and all the gold from lane minions.

This is one of the most untrue things I have ever heard. Supports make or break the bottom lane. Snowballing it allows you to roam mid to gank or to move with your jungler into their jungle

and a fully buffed Leona, with Baron buff can run into the opponents base getting blasted by the towers, like it's nothing
I mean, last night their whole team focused on me, I drew them away from the nexus, while you finished it off.
I was laughing my butt off like "Why are you guys attacking the Support, you are so dumb"

Honestly it depends on the champ. Velkoz and Annie can carry a game easy just by doing retarded damage. However trying to carry a game as Alistair or Braum is fricking miserable. The best they can do is peel for an ADC that may or may not be competent. I like mid because carrying from there is so easy. Cass and Swain do retarded damage and peel for themselves without being completely useless if the other team picks Vi or J4.

I understand what you are saying, but you rely on the rest of your team to follow up on your actions as a support for the most part. Supports in general are there to 'support' not carry. This does not mean supports can't win the game for the team, it's just often more difficult.
For example: your team is off running around playing patty-cake with the other team and the wolf camp. You split push because you're going to take objectives or no one will. It's easier to split and take towers as jinx, zed or trundle, than it would to split as nami, braum or janna.

seems like a slight buff to Twitch and Vaynes laning , a bit more Ad when rushing botrk
i dont think the Hurricane change helps kalista that much.
idk how this affects melee botrk rushers like zed, trundle, onhit xin zhao
