Yeah but you're not going to like it lol.
Seer Staff Schematic is findable in chests but is pure RNG. So you just have to get lucky.

Blah. I've been doing the chest cheat for week and have had no luck so far. I have to say, this game is incredible but the RNG for chests and drops is the weakest thing about it. I wish areas were scaled to your current level. I've been back tracking and clearing out a lot of stuff that I skipped over early on. I was finishing Storm Coast the other night and was getting level 4 gear as a level 22.

I did things a bit different. I tried to 100% everything in each zone before I moved on. Obviously certain things are not able to be completed but I did most stuff. The first time I left Hinterlands everything was done except the dragon, I had even finished the level 12 rifts by abusing the frick out of stealth and regen potions.

Nice. I wonder if I could do this on normal now that I fully know how to gear up.
On every difficulty, I love going back and blowing up that miserable SOB falls rift.

I am sure you could. Spread the team out. DPS the small ones while they FF the big ones. Then once everyone is dead, stealth around and rez them at opposite corners... takes a while but if you actually get 2 up you usually win then.

Couldn't play much this week.
Have about 50 hours on nightmare.
All I have left is the hissing waste, dragons and main story.
My time with Inquisition might come to a close this weekend. In the end, I will have racked up about 300 hours.
The Big Question .....
Will the next game be another money grab to exploit the awards for Inquisition or did they learn their lesson with DA2?

tried fighting the hinterlands dragon as a level 11. got him down about halfway before getting owned

I finally beat the Dragon when I brought 4 mages, including my character, all armed with Ice staffs.

Damn, myth. I'm approaching 200 hrs myself. But only because I've played approx half the game with 3 different characters. I'm about 20 hrs in my nightmare run with a Mage. After doing 1/2 the game on normal, and hard the only way to make the game challenging is to do nightmare. Even in this playthrough I'm not running Viv, nor am I specing as a KE. I went Fire Rift Mage this time, and I am enjoying the hell out of it! The difficulty is real.

I regret doing normal. I'm level 22 and nothing hurts me. I have sturdy battlemaster armor with 5 guard on hit. I don't even have to cast barrier or use a support mage anymore.

Heart Shall Burn is awesome. It was so damn hard on Nightmare. Thought the waves of enemies would never stop. Lots of fun.
