Amelia wrecked me a ton because I was stubborn and tried to fight her doing 70 damage per hit. Went back with saw cleaver +5 and wrecked her in about a minute and a half

He destroyed me after he changed every time until I started timing his attacks and jump attacking with the axe.

i'll be honest, other that father G, the hunters give me more trouble than most of the bosses so far. of course I have only beaten 4... cleric, father G, BS Beast, and Amelia. I don't want to regret saying this , but I kind of hope the difficulty picks up just a bit with the bosses
is there a way to check and see how many times you have died?

I'm at the end point. I'm exploring Cainhurst and going to try and find all optional bosses.

I remember some review stating 11 bosses, 5 "mac daddies," and 7-9 chalice bosses. Pretty awesome

So can someone help me figure out how leveling up works? I have 5 insight, so what does that mean? It won't let me manually upgrade. I go to do it and it tells me no attribute selected. Also, is there a portal near every boss, because there was one not far from the first boss, but I just got to the second boss and almost beat him, but I died and now I have to do all of that shite over again.

And BTW, I find this game to be pretty awesome. It's taking some time to figure some things out...I'm still not there and there have been no story elements yet. So I'm not sure what the plot is

You need to increase the points using the right and left buttons then press x.

So I'm walking around in the Cathedral area starting to get some farming going. It was at that part where you walk around the wagon and see one of those big purple guys. I take him out and all of a sudden a grim reaper looking thing (that was never there before) comes out and shreds me in two hits. I wake up in some dungeon and I'm somewhere where the enemies are muuuuuch tougher. I can barely make it out to explore anything

There is a lamp at the very top of the stairs. Bolt up there and bail out.
