Nor have they said what that even means. Working on could mean that one guy is still brainstorming

Lego last of us, I'm hoping someone mods it on pc

I'm excited for many of the games people have named already so I figured I'd list 3 I'm pumped for but didn't see mentioned.

1. The Witness
-Braid is one of my favorite games of all time and this is by the same designer.

2. Rime
-This looks like Ico and the developer has admitted it's supposed to be inspired by it. That alone has me interested.

3. Everybody's Gone to Rapture
-I wasn't in love with "Dear Esther" but it had a lot of potential. I think this developer can do that with their second game.

That too

Well, the creator......I think, came out and apologized for all of the misinformation or lack thereof about the game, so I'll take him at his word that it's in the works. I know they had to start over (joy), so who knows. That game would be the main reason for me ever getting a PS4.

I haven't actually played ico but I just got it in. It's taking all I have not to start it but I'm making myself finish something else first.

I don't know what any of this means

So how often do you get to play anything? I'd be willing to work through some Borderlands at some point. My gaming schedule is not regular, so it would be whenever.

I really don't understand Sony's thinking on "The Last Guardian." This series, if we want to call it that, has the potential to become something like a "Zelda" for Sony. A franchise that's a critical darling and a console seller.

I'm not saying it will ever be as big as Zelda (or even the latest FPS flavor of the week) but I frequently see people say "If Last Guardian / a sequel to SOTC came out, I'd buy a PS4." I have a friend who bought a PS3 after seeing the first "Last Guardian" trailer forever ago. He's still kinda pissed about that.

I'm curious what you'll think of it once you play it after it's probably been talked up so much. Did you ever play "Out of this World?"

I'm not saying it's a rational reason. But if they were to stick with strictly on their console, I'd be really tempted.......or just borrow my friend's for a while.

And I don't think you're alone. Sony is sitting on a potential gold mine and I don't think they even know it. This is all assuming they can actually make a good game out of it but Ico and SOTC is a good indication they can.

Just imagine for a second if the PS4 had launched with "The Last Guardian" instead of "Killzone" or "Knack."

As good as it is, those games are still pretty niche. I don't see their sales getting that much of a bump based on Guardian.

I'm not saying that it would've made the PS4 sell a ton better. I just mean it would've made their launch a hell of a lot stronger to pour money into something other than a mediocre FPS or a kid friendly platformer that's too difficult for kids to play. It would've given people more to talk about.

The Xbox One's best title is a racing game. And it's got people playing racing games who have never played them before. Part of that is because it's good and the other part is that there's not much else to play on the system.

You introduce a SOTC level game to PS4's owners clamoring for something to play and you might convince a few people to check those types of games out more.

I'm already in the middle of wind waker, AC4, and borderlands. I told myself I need to beat one of those first, probably wind waker.

Obviously none of us know the story but you have to think there is a reason and they know it would sell. Maybe they didn't like were it was going? Are they worried about quality slipped? who knows...

Like you said, "who knows?" But it just sort of drives me crazy that we have "Killzone: Kill harder" on PS4 (which isn't a bad game) and we don't have "The Last Guardian."

Okay. Well, those games are very similar in a lot of ways but it's pointless to talk about it without you having played it. Just trying to temper the expectations you might have for Ico, because it's mostly an adventure game with some puzzles and light platforming and very light combat. I think the total package is why so many like it.

That's why I'm excited about it
I like puzzles. that's why i loved myst, loved zelda, and even enjoy the programming i have done so far because it's one big puzzle/math problem to me. I may change my mind on the programming later

Well, the scenarios are quite different. Guerilla Games has a lot more employees and are lead by a much more defined group that has very concrete deadlines and release requirements. Team Ico operates on a very loose lease and their management allows them to work for as long and as slowly as they need.

I do think they've been reworking the game for PS4.
