I think people just love to hate ME3 because of its ending. Otherwise, I thought it was a very good game and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

=I need to go back and replay the trilogy. It's my favorite.

I really liked ME 3. Granted the ending was a disaster that Bioware should have been smart enough to avoid but up until then it was fun to play and had some great pay offs to various story lines developed throughout the series.

Finished ME2.

What a great story. Plenty of complex choices and I probably made some bad ones.

Lost Thane, Garrus and Jack in the finale. Thane was already dying, Jack sucks, but I wasn't expecting Garrus to get ripped to shreds by the bugs.

M3 is downloading.

Oh... another MASSIVE improvement over ME1 was the fact the game would save AFTER cut scenes. I think i had to reload 20 times and rewatch the same cut scene over and over in ME1.

Right before you get into the Prothean ruins to find Liara for the first time. If you don't move in the first second you are getting blown up.

Also when leaving the ruin and the Krogan meets you on the elevator.

I die every time I play through a couple times at least.

Got me on my recent playthrough. They hit you with so much shite that you have no choice but to run.

Difficulty seems to be ramped up for ME3.

The first couple of hours were aggravating with all the chat chat chat blah blah blah.

I'm still having fun although I have no clue what I am supposed to be doing. I also appear to be pissing just about everyone off.

Still haven't figured out the war room and what I am supposed to be doing there.

Haven't played in a while (really need to), but I think the war room is just to check progress with war assets and such.

Yeah. I'm just still trying to figure out if I needs to rush things along or lose allies or if I can move at whatever pace I want.

I do think they went a bit overboard with the Reaper invasion.

Not sure there would be anything left of the universe by the time I have all my gang ready to take them on.

I guess it is possible that Sovereign was a super powerful Reaper and maybe there are weak reapers. If not, then I don't see how Earth will have any survivors.

He was. He was designed to be able to start the Reaper invasion on his own.

Reading this thread reminded me how awesome mass effect is. I really need to make a legitimate effort to play ME2 that's sat in my backlog for 5-6 years now

Played 1-3

Then I was bored so I played 1 over again. Figured at that point I was burned out.

Well, just finished 2 for the second time.

This time, everyone survived so now I have to play 3 again since on my first play through of 3, I was missing a ton of players because they died in 2.
