You have to be online to play some of the modes. If you want to start a franchise on the cloud, ultimate team, or that new draft mode (whatever that is) you have to be online.

Is ultimate team worthless if you don't want to spend real money?
And seriously what is this draft mode? Is Fantasy so entrenched that people don't want to play franchise with their favorite NFL team?

Welp. 1st game on Franchise and Colston goes out for the season with a broken collarbone. I hate this game already. Cooks is really good though!

You don't have to spend any money. Just earn coins and build your team through the auction.
