Knocked out O&S via perfect fight. Threw on ring of first born (boosts miracles) to change things up. 6 lightning spears to take out Smough (9 without ring) and I destroyed super Ornstein. I channeled vintage Carson and remembered all of his moved and beat his frickin arse

Got him. Once I got the dogs out of the way, it was an easy fight. And please tell me that's what is meant by kill the dogs first.

A few questions as I see it is on steam sale:
What's the combat like?
Whats the character customization like?
What's the worst thing about the game?
Should i play the first one, or jump right into the second one?

Combat - fair, precise, and challenging
Customization - deepest I've seen in a long time
Worst thing - tests you in ways other games don't and some people can't accept that
The first one is held in much higher regard, but the pc version is very buggy. You will need to use DSFix for stability.

Don't play with kb/m. Use a 360 controller. And everything is realtime. There is no pause. Ever.

where is it again? im not using a shield except (just keep the grass crest on my back for the endurance buff) but i may need one later

PC would be better since you can run it at 60fps, but most of us have it for 360, i think.

Had to be up early today and beat Fatboy Slim on NG+. It's either feast or famine with them, my first try I got knocked in the back by the fricking giant through the fog gate and then dp'd before I could get my bearings. Can't decide on a second weapon, thinking maybe flamberge.

you have such good weapon diversity. im so boring. always longsword +15, great scythe +15 (ultimate dex weapon), lightning Zwei, etc

Can I just say, the old chaos is bullshite, I beat it last night, but that shite is so annoying. "We are going to throw 12 enemies at you one after the other before tossing you into a fight with a boss that has two forms" .. I've never seen so many summoning signs in one area before. Even the fume knight didn't have that many summoning signs.....
