I played DS1 in 2013 I think.
DS2 I bought on release
I don't do the pre-order thing anymore. It's not like steam will run out of digital downloads

Yeah, I'm playing it on ps4 this time, so I preordered from Amazon for the discount

I'll pre order digital so I can have it loaded to play at midnight of release.

that is awesome.

is everyone convinced that the events of ds3 occur AFTER ds1 and 2 yet?

my question isn't entirely related to your link as obviously many lore related theories are open ended at this time.

BUT judging by everything we have seen, and what miyazaki has STATED, ds3 occurs AFTER ds1 and 2, not before.

It's definitely a sequel, but the timeline probably isn't what most people think.

At one point Miyazaki tries to explain how the series timeline might not be all that it seems, but the lengthy explanation ends up truncated as it spirals into complexities too large to cover in our short interview slot and too nightmarish to translate on the fly. “It’s very difficult to explain via translator,” he says, his translator nodding along and laughing exasperatedly. “But even in terms of the perspective of time and when things take place, there’s a lot of vagueness.”

Of particular interest regarding the information in your link,

Vaatividya did NOT find this 'secret' , and has played a lot.

In conclusion, there are probably a lot of hidden treats in these levels that require time and effort to unlock

He said he found something big that will be in his last vid and said it might prevent him from ever being asked back to events.

On a side note, it seems you can now preload the game -- 18 gigs. Then you have to wait 40 days, which is ridiculous.

Order canceled from Amazon because it wouldn't get to me on release day. I will pick it up at Walmarks.

So im running through BB one more time so I can get the last trophy for a platinum. I've never been able to make myself submit to Gehrman

1.) This game is very, very short if you only do the necessary areas
2.) The Shadows of Yharnam is a wonderful boss fight

I've never done this before, but here's a link to me fighting them tonight. NG+, I usually never remember to record. Nothing special (I'm no Jombie), just wanted to save the fight because it's one of my favorites.

It's a gank fight done right. The dynamics are interesting and fun, and you seem to always catch a breather.
