They delayed it. It was supposed to come out in June I believe and they now say at the very earliest October or more likely, 2016.

Best thing to do is start out with an easy duke. Just go to custom games and click on a county. Then there should be a difficulty bar under the ruler. You may have selected a hard ruler to play.

You'll get it. It just takes time.

If you want to take the next step in complicated games, try Ageod games, especially To End All Wars. They're super detailed strategy war simulators. Turn based strategy on huge scales that requires. It's definitly a small developer and not polished but fun nonetheless.

And the bundle stars offer makes it attractive at $10

That deal is so insane I almost bought it even though I have no interest at all in playing it.

Steam has that bundle at $99.00

So this game is basically do what you want?

I can't figure out what to do. I need objectives in my life

Not really. You can definitely be an a-hole but you can't just start wars for no reason

Go to the military tab up top and there should be an option to "raise levies". That's your army.

Go click on your county that you are ruling and upgrade your towns, castles and churches. You can also build new settlements but it can be expensive.

I know. This is the most complex game I've ever played. I have figured out how to take areas though. Merging armies is key to have flanking attacks.

Seems like its hard as hell to get gold though. Also, I get factions against me all the time.

There are different ways to play it. You can manipulate mechanics to make it easier and there are people who have an insane understanding of the mechanics that they can take over with any starting ruler. They're good in a traditional sense. I don't really like that mechanical approach though. That's just not fun to me. I like to treat my characters as they should. If my ruler is honorable, he won't be declaring war unjustly. Or if my character is a little shite, he's going to be in subterfuge.

I broke down and bought it last night. Played just a little this morning.

Although I tend to enjoy micromanagement games, this one may be way too much.
