PS/XB cross platform maybe, but Sony has been doing cross platform games with PC since 2002.

There will be a lot of wall hacks, aim bots, cheats by console players when they get in a lobby of PC with keyboard+mouse players for FPS. They already make the accusations on bogus shite, now they will really get owned and cry.
I cannot use keyboard+mouse, to me it's f'in horrible. You are stuck to your desk. I like to grab the controller and sit in my recliner, lean it back and let the stress out on a fps game. Being forced to sit in computer chair and game get's boring.

We do have comfortable computer chairs. I rather my computer chair over sofas and recliners.

I do agree. Only games which are fine sitting back and playing are Nintendo titles. Then even in that case, I feel better sitting in my computer chair.
You should make a run to the house one weekend. Totally redone my computer room since moving back from Texas.

Yeah, and there's no text-based chat whatsoever on the console version of ESO, so I'm not sure how that would work even if it was cross-platform.
FFXIV on PS4/PS3 is cross platform with PS3. It's essentially a straight port of the PC version with certain UI elements changed around to better suite a controller. I don't particularly find it as playable on console, but it works pretty well.
ESO always felt made for consoles first and foremost and ported to PC even though the PC version actually released first.

On Paragon PC and PS4 play together all the time. PC does have an advantage because they never miss, but I see PC players lose just as much as PS4
