played the first one for like an hour. Did not enjoy it. Traded it in and never played it or another one ever again. What am I missing?

Was it gameplay or the environment that put you off? If it's the environment (a lot of players didn't like being confined to the asylum), City might be something to check out.

I could see where Asylum could get repetitive, but you should really check out Arkham City. It's unbelievable.

I'm in the minority in that I like Asylum better than City. Open world didn't work for me for some reason with that game. Still liked it, but I loved the mood of Asylum a lot better.
