I agree that this game is still way better than 12, there are definite improvements, but still shite that sucks. Luckily, EA Canada is willing to listen to its fans and make changes to the series, something we haven't seen out of Tiburon (NCAA and Madden before the current one)

My only complaint is the officiating. It's absolute shite in this game

Random question: Think FIFA is accurate when it comes to tie breakers? Through 37 EPL games the standings are as follows:

1. LFC, 86 pts, +50 GD, 85 GF
2. MUFC, 86 pts, +49 GD, 84 GF

So if I win 1-0 and MUFC wins 2-0 we'd be tied on GD and GF which should equal a neutral site tiebreaker game since it's for the title. I wonder if the game actually has that in it.

I really hope I don't find out b/c I play Southampton in my final game and I should win by more than 1 goal.

I kinda wish I could control both games just to make it happen, but I know the MUFC 13/14 club well and they are a good group in my league, so I really don't want any part of that. Also it's now official, the Southampton game will be Jamie Carragher's last match for LFC .

Starting him and naming him captain, hope to send him out with a title as well.

It wasn't last year with Ligue 1. Had a tie on everything and they gave it based on alphabetical order.

That's stupid... But i'd win if it came down to it L before M

I gotta beat Southampton first though, 0-0 30 minutes into it

I just discovered Ultimate Team today. My life is over. Played from 1-7pm.

Do quick tactics actually work? I have only played online games pretty much so I guess I'd notice it better on manager mode.

Still have never played Ultimate team.

I don't really like any of them other than the high press. The manager mode version where you can tweak your pressing and aggressiveness individually is much more useful and effective.

Does anyone else feel like this game just works against you sometimes?

HT Scores:
LFC 0-1 SOT
Spurs 0-0 MU

I've outshot Southampton 8-1

ETA: Apparently all I have to do is bitch to someone and something good happens . Assaidi (51', 56')

EETA: Sahin (65')

I just got chills, won the match 4-2 and therefore the league. At the end of the celebration and while the highlights were showing, the crowd was singing YNWA. Not sure if EA did that on purpose or if it was a happy accident but it was really cool

Never have played Ultimate Team before. Trying it out. Confused, but looks fun.

ETA: Ditching DCU in favor of a European team. Just can't get into it. Maybe a Championship or League One side? Or even a low-level Spanish club? Who knows, I might even put Rangers back into the SPL, take a bottom-feeder Scottish side and try to break the Old Firm dominance.

In have a manager career going with Shrewsbury Town so I am simming most of the season. EA needs to get a grip with the injuries! I have players going down hurt after every other match it seems like. I realize they are a part of the game but it is ridiculous.
