On career mode someone gets injured every other game and its usually one of your star players. Damn you EA! And the horse you rode in on.

Adjust injury sliders down a bit and it's a lot better. I had Sturridge go out for 8 weeks and lost Skrtel in the last game to an ACL, but other than that it was a lot of 1-3 week things

Ditching DCU in favor of a European team. Just can't get into it. Maybe a Championship or League One side?

I started one with Fleetwood Town in league 2. They had over 1M in budget so I wouldn't want to kill myself. In year 4 I am playing my 2nd season in the Championship having missed the playoffs by 1 point in year 3. I am projected to get promoted with a starting XI composed entirely (minus my RB) of youth academy players. I have a 20 y/o ST that is 81 OVR but I expect him to leave soon ( ). He has 2 yrs left on his contract but I could only give him 10,000/wk in wages.

The sliders from Jamie on Operation Sports have made this game so much more enjoyable. No more attacking run after attacking run by the cpu. And I'm no longer getting molested by the cpu defenders.

Does anyone else feel like this game just works against you sometimes?

absolutely, thats why it can be so damn infuriating sometimes. The game decides just how and when exactly it wants to score.

Aldershot Town

Played a shite ton with them in FIFA 09 because I loved their crest. Had Freddy Adu (at 87), Michael Bradley, Jozy, Jesus Navas, Messi, and Lloris on that team by the time I got to the Championship. It helped getting Ronaldinho on a free and then selling him for like 50 million haha.

Why don't you put it on Semi-Pro and do what you want then?

The sliders I use make the game less frustrating, especially on the highest difficulties. Mainly AI marking for both sides, meaning that the guys off the ball don't go braindead and get face cut every play.

Also tweaking game speed and the speed/acceleration sliders for both user and the CPU help.

Started a MM with Plymouth Argyle. Did you know that Plymouth is the largest city in England that's never had a top-flight team? (250,000 folks in the southernmost and easternmost city on the isle.) I'm about to change that.

Sold a bunch of players, invested in a 3* scout. Lost three out of my first five matches, now I'm on a tear, winners of six out of the last seven (drew the other match). I sim every match against bottom half teams, hence the 12 match amount I've already gone through since yesterday.

FIFA still doesn't understand how extra time works in a two leg tie.

What are you talking about? Like the MLS Draft, or a fantasy draft?

Wow, that would be ridiculously tough to pull off with the diverse club financials.

that, too

i mean a 30-team draft in the NFL takes like an hour. imagine how long one would take with 100 teams

They could easily set it up to where it didn't have to be that realistic, that's why it's a Fantasy. Just pick a team in a league and have all the players in the world available. Sure a 20 team league would be stacked but it could still be fun. At least I think so?

This game is so fricking ridiculous sometimes, no matter what it has shite predetermined. Even my announcers will be ahead of the game sometimes and predict the future, goals included. I can turn it over in the other teams box against a shitty team and 3 passes later they're ripping 30 yarders into the upper 90 against me with nobody's. I'm ab done with this shite.

So I love the little things in this game that make me laugh... Just saw on the transfer window to the side that Barcelona bought Frimpong from Arsenal.. some things never change.
