the story of ME1 made more sense, and the lead up to the final battle along with the battle itself were MUCH better than ME2.
ME2 had a much better interface and was more fun to play though.
if ME3 combines the good from 1 and 2, it might be a truly EPIC game.

One of my favorite game series of all time. The story of the first one was awesome, the build up, and big reveal was mind blowing. The second one was still very good, maybe not as good of story, but awesome gameplay.
Can't wait for the third one. A friend of mine is working on it and I heard some spoiler stuff on the campaign against my will. Ready to really play the game though.

I just stared ME, I haven't had much time for it, I got both of them off of Steam.
I got Portal 2 as well and been playing that the most.

I love the series.... Just no more mining! Even though the planets were repetitve I liked the searching and side quest in the first one.

Sweet deal glad to hear, I'm definitely going to get them if you say they are good. You pumped for Skyrim? I can't wait for that. I know the gf is going to get upset with how much I play that game so I made a deal that i wouldn't get UC3 or Batman when they are released.

Yeah real life will take a back seat to that game. The best part is being off for Thanksgiving holiday the week after it is released. I will have red bulls and eye drops at the ready.

I have a PS3 and just picked up ME2 about a week ago and I am hooked. I wish I could go back and play 1. There wasn't a ME1 PS3 release was there? Also, will ME3 launch simultaneously on both consoles or is it Xbox exclusive for a while?

There is no PS3 version of Mass Effect 1. EA bought up BioWare between 1 & 2 and when 2 launched EA planned to have it go multi-platform eventually. Microsoft retained the rights to keep 1 on 360 though. Mass Effect 3 will be multi-platform right from the start though...
