ETA: Like I said yesterday, I won't be on until after 9 most likely if I get on at all. Going to a concert (a classical recital, not Megadeth).

Some players argued that tanking companions in those builds tanked far too well, and that healers had an inordinate advantage over other players because they had the ability to keep their companions up through anything short of an Heroic 4 quest. BioWare seemed to agree with that line of thinking, and the armor buff was removed a few weeks before launch.
It works really well.
I don't see why healers can't get good tanks.

So Im about to ding 50 (lvl 49 atm) and I have 1 champion gear bag and 1000 merc coms and 1000 wz coms.
Should I wait for this patch to use them or is buying the champion bags still viable? Trying not to waste all the time spent gaining them if the new system is going to be more bang for your buck.

Hey guys. If you'd stand for a complete noob to join the Guild, then I'm in.
This is the first MMO I've ever player; mostly just a console player; so I have no clue how a Guild works. But I reaaly want to try it.
Question 1: If is switch over to Server - Bondar Crystal (PVP East Coast), will I have to start a new player from scratch?
Question 2: If 1 is a no, then how do I transfer my player to the Bondar Crystal Server?
Question 3: If I have to start over, what class or subclass are you guys in need of most? I'd be willing to play as anything.

Last time I checked, we only had one Scoundrel and one Jedi Shadow. Our guild is small, though, so we don't really have "too many" of any class or specialization. As far as roles are concerned, most of us are oriented toward dealing damage as opposed to healing or taking damage for the rest of the party. But feel free to go with whatever playstyle you think fits you best.

This is true. Im only doing my class quest now. Btw I tried out healer in PVP and it was a horrible experience.
