Spicy creole tomato was a legit 9.5/10 IMO. I'd give the rest of the lineup a 7/10,but I'm not a huge chip guy so there are plenty of other brands I haven't had.

I used to crumble up some spicy creole tomato chips on top of my tomato soup. Seriously legit.

I like kettle cooked Lays and Cape Cod kettle cooked chips.

In spite of my earlier post I do have a Zapp's story. I was the successful bidder at a fundraiser years ago for a year's supply of Zapps. The prize was a case of the large bags each month for a year. I got to choose the flavors. I moved to California shortly thereafter and had them shipped to my office in downtown L.A. The guys on my floor were impressed. They were even more impressed after I moved back to New Orleans and they came into town for a seminar. They had poboys, plenty of Zapp's, boiled seafood at Sid Mar's, saw Harry Connick Sr. playing in the French Quarter and were amazed that he was the D.A. and, finally, I got them to spend, seriously, $5000 at Rick's Cabaret.
Yes it a csb.

Zapp's makes some damn good chips, although between the various flavors there are some hits and misses. The Cajun Crawtators are probably my least favorite because they're just too salty & overseasoned. The regular flavor is always too greasy. The upper echelon of their brand can be found by eating the Dill, Sweet Creole Onion, and VooDoo.

No mention of the vinegar and salt. Can't put them down.

I was eating the vinegar and salt when i tyrped that. I thought they were a bit too salty. Like the plains and the cajun craw.

The Jalapeno and Voodoo flavors are by far the best.

One of the best I've had.
I can tear up a bag of crawtators.
I like them way better than Lays or Ruffles.
The only ones I like better are chips called Grandma Utz's. You can't get them here.
My parents are from PA and the chips are made up there. We used to get them all the time when we would take trips up there when I was a kid. They're kettle cooked like Zapp's but they're fried in lard. Yes, it's bad for you but it tastes so awesome.
Another good one is Gibbles. Also from Pennsylvania. Can't get them here either.
