Considering last time we were in there, Jones made me guess the price of a pepper shaker in his hand and it was $170, I have no idea what I'd buy.

ETA: There are some interesting things in the sale section on their website.

Exactly why I ask. Guess I will just start with the sale section and hope something halfway decent comes up.

A knife is a good suggestion. That's the way I'd go. Even if it just gets you $100 knocked off of a knife maybe you wouldn't normally spend a lot on, that's really good.

So the catch is it was one of my wedding gifts. So we just got a ton of kitchen gifts and I am flush on knives, pots/pans, and appliances.

Ok, so a pizza stone or a carving board.

Le Creuset baking dish.

I know it will only cover a portion of the price.

Then you have your answer. A Vitamix will help to keep your new marriage intact.

Edit for fat fingers.

Immersion blender is a good tool that I use pretty often.

A nice mandoline might also be good. $99:

Use it to pay half of a Bamix immersion blender.
Or if you truly don't need kitchen stuff, buy the frozen pastries. You defrost/let rise overnight, then bake the next AM. LINK
I wish someone would gift me those morning buns....
