Mine was Dickie Brennan's, about 13 years ago. Wife (girlfriend at time) and I went in. It was probably our third time there. We were young then, but I bartended, she waited tables. We used to go out and drop serious money on dinner and hook up our servers well.
But this time, our server was a bitch. Older lady, obviously assumed we were cheap. Didn't tell us any specials, paid no attention. After we ordered, we heard her tell the next table a bunch of specials, one of which I wanted. So we asked why she didnt tell us the specials. She says "we don't have any." Wife says "we just heard you tell them." Waitress says "Oh, that's not specials, just stuff not on the menu. I didn't think you'd be interested." on and on like that for 2 hrs. Didn't go back for 10 years.
Also, on honeymoon. Waiter at restaurant was a fricking dick. We still tipped 20% (former bartender and waitress). Overheard him say to a co-worker that he totally pre-judged us but was wrong.

Honestly I don't think I've ever had a horrible exp at a resturaunt... Ever.
One time year or so ago wife and I went to red river grillmin marksville.
This dumbass lady that sat us( which was owner) knocked my beer over and spilled on my wife's lap.
Idk if the bitch was drunk or high but she barely apologized and didnt even bother to bring another beer on the house.
The more I thought about how she handled more pissed I got.
Imtold waiter what happened when we finished just to see if they were gonna Comp something... Guy was very apologetic and prob would have.
I said forget it, just tell your boss we won't be back.
Haven't been... Nice place 20 mins from house.

That's got to be a first. Usually people complain about the waiter to the owner. Probably a good call to not return.

Sammy's on highland on a Sunday afternoon, I ordered a shrimp poboy and on my second bite, bit into something that just wasn't right. I looked down, opened the sandwich and there it was, a perfectly battered and fried mop string. . .you know the thick gray nasty ones??? Think about it, how does a fricking mop string get anywhere near the batter, then what idiot would fry it?

Calendar's MANY moons ago. Wife and I went to the champagne brunch and asked for the no smoking section. The waitress sat us next to a table full of smokers. She explained that we were in the half of the restaurant designated no smoking and the other table was in the smoking half. We were literally the only two occupied tables in the restaurant. The waitress was just dingy as hell.
Later (and yes, we had moved) it was reaching 1:00 when the free champagne ended. We asked for one more re-fill and the waitress said sure. Ten minutes later she came by and apologized since she had forgotten our drinks "but it's 1:02 now and I can't re-fill you for free anymore; sorry!". Her tip had just evaporated but the manager heard what she said and brought some champagne over. She wasn't mean or lazy, just stupid as hell.
Later (and yes, we had moved) it was reaching 1:00 when the free champagne ended. We asked for one more re-fill and the waitress said sure. IHOP on Youree Dr. in S'port during Mardi Gras when I was in High School. Terrible service as usual and when my group of friends and I went up to pay some sort of race riot broke out between this old redneck dude and some black chicks. Was hilarious. We just walked out and didn't pay.

Working at one owned by a gay cokehead the summer after freshman year. Got so pissed one day I threw my tabs down on the bar and walked the hell out. I had like 6 tables open. The restaurant is no longer open
