Why does this board hate Zea's?

I finally went and tried it last week and it was outstanding. One of us had the veal, the other the thai ribs. They were both crazy good. Does the board hate it because it's a chain? Usually when I eat at a place the board hates, the food, service, and/or prices suck, but that definitely was NOT the case with Zea's, so what gives?

I like Zea's and know Leonard here in Lafayette personally. Good food and good service. Love their ribs at Festival.

I thought it was one of the chains that people found to be decent on here. Anyways, their quality has gone down the past 3 years. Used to be much better imo.

Way too much processing to their food for my taste, too much msg.

I never had a problem with it. It is what it is. Just a pretty good regional chain. Haven't been in two years though

Outstanding?? I think it's a decent lunch, but outstanding might be an overstatement.

I've always enjoyed myself there, those damn grits, at 800 calories for the small serving are killer, in more ways than one.

The only thing I hate about Zea is the fact that everyone adds a possessive 's to the name.

I like their hummus a lot. I get it with sliced cucumber instead of pita. Also cabbage is good.

The service at the one in Baton Rouge is atrocious, but the food is pretty good. I like the Thai snap beans and corn grits a lot.

Zea in Metairie is great, Thai ribs are money.
