Why did Subway quit selling roast beef?

Too expensive and not near popular enough

Were they legally allowed to call what they used to sell “roast beef”?

Because you can only ask bologna to do so much.

There are so many better choices, why eat that garbage.

I always wondered what was the roast beef cut from. It glistened like a rainbow standing on the other side of the counter.

They discontinued rotisserie chicken and roast beef--the 2 most expensive meats--in summer 2020.

Not sure if they have actually returned yet; have not been in several months.

I used to get the club, which has roast beef along with other meats, and I quit on them after it disappeared.

The last time I was in a Subway I noticed the place had a funky kind of odor - I left without ordering and haven't been back to subway - still not sure what I was smelling -

Subway prices piss me off because they are almost meatless. We have a gas station in town that makes subs. A 12" sub with about 3/4" of meat stacked on there is 6 bucks.

i only get the veggie sandiwch. subway sucks, ingas and am mart , and fayes are better and more exspensive

Never understood the appeal of subway with much better options available.
