we going to need to do a cook-off.

Lets all make dishes and bring them to Finn's and have a cook-off like they do for every Saints game.

Would be fun, I get people don't like being IRL'd though.

We could have the patrons judge the food.

tailgate works for me. But logistics would be harder.

. Hmmm. Anyone have a spot halfway?

I have property in BR, so I'm up there a lot, but may not work for all.

we all know this will never happen, but it would be cool.

Homecook first learning from mom, gandmom, and a friends mother and father that were gourmands/gourmemts long before it was cool, work experience second, training and more work.

CITWIT sounds like he can throw together a nice spread

I'm sure most of the people here are definitely above average cooks. I can only make a few dishes really well. The rest is to be learned at a later time.

And I get no love.. Sheeesh.. Plus pochejp should be included if not just for his jambalaya recipe.

Seems like you tree, kajungee, and pochejp are definitely great with cajun dishes.

I'm not really sure what else you guys excel at. The knowledge of traditional cajun cuisine seems to be up there though.
