Used to be a bar where the bar was decked out in blue lights. I remember it being more of a upscale kinda place and thinkI it was downtown or in the warehouse dist. I haven't been in years (and it might be closed) but someone said this sounds like the Whiskey Room at the W Hotel downtown. Anyone been or know what I'm talking about?

Yes, Whisky Blue at the W Hotel.
Great place to look at womens and the bartenders were pretty fine last time I was there, but those kind of places get on my nerves real quick, especially with those prices.

I think it is owned by Cindy Crawford's husband and some Hollywood people. I went to the grand opening party and haven't been back. Not my kind of scene.

It's a chain...one is opening up at the Super 8 in Denham at the end of the month.

Is all the hate just because of the prices?

well, they have one in Mexico City, so Denham seems to be the next logical choice.

I think the hate is because the bouncers wear those Madonna back-up singer/dancer headsets.

No, I don't hate the place. It is just a little to "hip" for me. I like dive bars.

Old timers might remember the Whiskey Bar on the ground floor of Place St. Charles. It snowed in that place, even in August.

Its just that his OJ is not mixed with cranberry and pomegrane juice and poured into a crystal glass and topped with an umbrella.

Drinks will be a little bit cheeper at least...but they probably won't be doing "Drinkin' With Lincoln".
