I can't disagree with that. My wife got it for me for my birthday, and I am really enjoying it. I've found there's a place for both good scotch and bourbon in my rotation.

It's strange that so many people seem to like the Balvenie Caribbean Cask. I found it to be one of the least impressive scotch that I own. I found it to be overly sweet because of the rum casking.

But I guess that is why there are so many scotch varieties. Something for everyone.

Not bad. Definitely can taste the youngness of it. But it's perfect for an old fashioned for me. I like high proof ryes in my old fashioneds.
