What is the trade value of a 2014 PVW20? Im interested in finding a PVW rye and a WLW.

this year rye is trading 1:1 for 20 yr
estimated values this yr are
wlw 14 - $400
vwfrr - $700-800
pvw 20 - $800

edit: I would not pay any of thse prices. If I am going to spend that amount of cash I want a bottle that isn't bottled every yr.

My god... The aftermarket prices are getting unbelievable... I just sat and looked at the Facebook groups and there wasn't one bottle I even came close to considering an offer on.

thoughts on regular angels envy vs. rye rum one? i really like the reg one and the rye has me intrigued, but strong rum flavors piss me off.

The rye is solid. It's extremely sweet so I can't drink too many but definitely a good pour. A bit pricey compared to the regular AE. I'd try it at a bar before buying just to see if it's your thing. New Orleans and Baton Rouge should start seeing it soon if not already

What's the price point? I have seen it online for about 60-70 bucks. I'd say it is easily worth that price.

Open discussion:

Would you rather have/drink the BTAC collection or the PVW collection?

BTAC collection

no question

BTAC is some of the best bourbon/rye of each respective expression produced. PVW is a wheat at varying proofs and ages. The VW products are some of the best for what they are but give me a barrel proof 15yr, 90 proof 17-19 year, a barrel proof wheater, and 2 awesome ryes any day

I had no idea those price sticker guns had a thousands place. It seems like you wouldn't put a crappy sticker on an item that is worth $3000, but that's none of my business.

yeah but they're not gonna get $3k.. Unless someone with way more money than sense walks through that door

I was walking in there to pick up some beer they had for me and turned around after seeing that. Couldn't make myself do it

What did that Booker's 25th go for when released? And how outrageous is the $169 asking price at Bin Q? I have never seen it anywhere else though.
