I thought so at the time. There was a guy who wanted to trade for a bottle of AH Hirsch on the Bourbon Exchange. I knew that Churchill's had 2 and Cuban had one. They both wanted $525 for the bottle. The guy at Churchills let me have one for $450 cash so I bought it and traded for the Pappy 20 and GTS. I was in Cuban the other day and they have the AH Hirsch for $650 now.

Churchill's had a bottle of Handy the other day for $65. Cuban had a bottle of Handy the other day for $89.

I would love to get together with some Bourbon lovers and have a get together. It would give us all an opportunity to try new things. Maybe during football season we can set something up.
By the way, just landed 2 bottles of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof from the BX. They should arrive next week. I told the guy to wait until Monday to ship to minimize time in a truck over the weekend.

TheBeard...If neither one of those places have one I know of another place right outside of BR that has a good selection of Bourbon and I saw a Handy there on Wednesday for $89. Don't want to divulge the name unless I have to as few people know about their selection and I want to keep it that way.

This is one of the good things about living here in MS. Most of the folks don't appreciate good whiskey but a lot of the local places actually have good stock. My two most reliable places have added several things on my recommendation and they keep me fairly well hooked up when they can. Now I'm just hoping these relationships pan out to some BTAC and Pappy this year

Yeah I walked into the place that I am talking about last summer and they had a Pappy 15 on the shelf for $70, an ORVW Lot B for $60, and 2 ORVW 10's for $40 just sitting on the shelf. of course I picked them all up. I was also able to get a Pappy 20 from the same place for $189 in December 2012.

Does Black Maple Hill suffer from the consistency issues that Noahs Mill suffers from? (I think they come from the same company)
I've had great Noahs mill and pretty bad Noahs Mill. And I've seen 15 or so bottles of BMH the last couple days and passed.

There was one other place in BR that I stopped at tonight and they had 3 bottles of Elmer T. Lee left on the shelf. I picked up 2 of them. I left 1 for the first person to find it.
