Wow, even better than the small batch. Much longer finish and less acetone/alcohol aroma. Same proof at 100.

The single barrel is for the most part (unless it's just a shite barrel) always on point and more complex than the small batch. Love EHTSB.

Yeah, the $20 price difference doesn't really bother me. They are both good bourbons, but I am definitely enjoying the single barrel more. I'd rate this above some much pricier bottles on the shelf.

Hot damn, that is what bourbon ought to be. Smooth, deep, deep vanilla, warming spice, background oak, and a velvet mouth feel. I could drink that forever. Rivals a topshelf single malt scotch. Can't wait to crack the SFTB, but waiting on a big LSU win.
