There are lots of great Louisiana restaurants, from the grand to the humble, that for whatever reason, got left behind to history. Which restaurants should make a comeback and which ones are better left behind?
My comeback list would start with:
La Louisiane in the French Quarter
La Riviera in Metairie
Bella Luna in the French Quarter
Frostop on St. Charles Ave
Foodies in Metairie
What ya got?

LaFonda's in Baton Rouge. I want another order of flat cheese enchilada's and the best margarita in the state.

Burger Tyme in Lafayette comes to mind because they had great burgers. The Cajun Blaze was the GOAT.. A double meat Cajun Blaze with cheese, grilled onions and bacon was monstrous.. so damn good.

I agree. K Street is awesome, but there are a million other restaurants I'd have rather it take over than Chelsea's.

Windjammer by West End. That was my go-to place for high school dances and first dates. My all time favorite dish was their Veal Pontchartrain - breaded veal with lump crabmeat and Hollandaise.
