unless i'm just a moron, the place hasn't be open since new years. Every time i pass by the lights are off and no cars. Also, the same damn 18 wheeler has been there for a week taking up half the parking.

I'm not sure if the 50 yard line is open or not, but they make a damn good hamburger.

can we please have a stickied "where to get a good poboy/muff/burger/philly cheesesteak in BR" thread so we don't have to keep repeating this for those who don't use the search feature?

its just a pet peeve of mine. why not? one of those threads comes up once or twice a week. I'm sure some of yall get tired of having to keep posting the same things over and over again.

If the same things weren't posted over and over again there would hardly be any traffic on over here on the F&D board.

I'm waiting for our requisite Taco Bell/Raising Canes thread. We're at least four hours overdue on at least one of those.

I agree offshore, but as an avid F and D poster don't you get tired of it?

BTW, george's, roul's, and akasha all make pretty good burgers and are near campus.

Certainly is a chore to sort through all the "best burrito/double cheeseburger/BR vs. NOLA" type of posts made throughout the day, but they do sometimes spark some interesting conversations I suppose.

Get's kinda dull around the F&D board somedays.

Capitol City Grill has one of the best burgers in my opinion....nothing fancy....good roll as a bun and seasoned well.

I think Parrains has a really good burger.

Riverside Patty is pretty overrated. I have tried them three times, and ordered it medium. All three times it was cooked medium well to well done adn dried out. The only reason I went back a second and third time is because of how everyone on this board raves about them.

i like to get what i pay for and for 7-8 bucks at Rp is def getting what you pay for.

FWIW ive only been 2-3 times, but i dont think ive ever said that was a shitty hamburger.
however i like my burgers well done.

It is a big burger, and for $7-$8 you definitely are getting a lot of beef, but I can not stand a well done burger. If you like it that way than I can see how you'd like it, but I like a burger pink in the middle and they can't seem to get that right (at least in my trips there that's been the case)
