Where to find whole pork belly in BR?

I’m sure somewhere like Whole Foods would have it, but so any local stores carry it regularly?
Also, anyone ever cured a whole pork belly and smoked their own bacon? I want to do it soon if I can find some

Costco has it.
I guess I just need to get a Costco membership. Im like ten minutes from sams so we roll with it mostly. I was hoping maybe some local grocery stores would carry it as well

Check out SMOKNGMEATFORUM. Great site for learning how to cure and smoke foods.

I thought about them, but I just had a feeling they’d be a good bit more expensive

Last one I got was from one of the Latin markets (Florid @Woodale)

The Asian grocery on the corner of Florida and Sherwood has them.

The wife and I have the Executive Membership that costs somewhere around $120 a year for the both of us.
Near the time you need to renew your membership, Costco sends a check for a percentage of what we've purchased during the year and it always works out to be enough for our membership and puts about $75 in our pockets.
Hell, if you just get the cheapest membership for a year, the gas savings alone will usually pay for that card.

Tramontes has these sometimes too. It will be more expensive than Costco for sure.

Well call and ask.
Last time I checked with them, it was a decent price. Costco i think didn't have them whole, its already cut into 1 inch strips.
