It was about the same consistency of the hot pocket I put in my mouth, although considerably less lava hot.

No chance. Sam's pizza is delicious! Hot pockets are just hot lava made with preservatives a d crap. It's probably been 9-10 years for me. Definitely was before my wife and I moved in together.

I was probably in college if I had to guess. Was Gaffigan the one that talked about how impossible it was to get the internal temp right on those damn things? Either the outside was scalding and the inside was a block of meat-ice, or the whole fricking thing was the temperature of the 9th circle of hell.

The one I have heard, he is at a restaurant and asking about the specials. Poor paraphrase.

"Sir we have a pecan encrusted trout, a bone in ribeye and the hot pocket."

"How is the hot pocket served?"

"Either ice cold or molten lava hot."

Caesar salad.

"I'll have the Caesar salad and...the hot pocket."

He's the funniest comedian out there. Think it's linked above. Has a great book out "Daddy is Fat" which was the first sentence his son wrote.

And never has a hot pocket passed my lips. They weren't around when I was a kid but as MD pointed out fish sticks were and that was our really crappy food. But that was before microwaves too and we had to wait 35-45 minutes depending on your ovens because all ovens vary.

When I was stuck at work b/c of the ice storms. My boss bought us TV dinners and hot pockets. Hot pockets are not nearly as magical as they were 10 years ago for me.

Don't you just love those kind of people? I mean wouldn't a loaf of bread and sandwich stuff be a lot better? Some people are funny. My neighbor came over for a ball game and brought four ribeyes stabbed and soaked in eye talian dressing. I just smiled and tossed them on the grill and called the Fire Department. Gotta love em.
