Yesterday, Jim Lahey (his dough is mentioned upthread) received the James Beard Outstanding Baker award at the presentation in Chicago.

I made some lahey dough last night and plan on cooking some pizza tonight.

Congrats to him. I've still got his bread dough on my list to make. It looks so easy for us non bakers to attempt. It also looks so good.

made the jim lahay dough this past weekend and I liked it more than the reinhart dough

the lahay dough was crisp but was also'fluffy'. reinharts was just crisp. guess that was from letting lahay's rise 18 hours compared to reinharts sitting in the fridge for 24 hrs. both were good and the best dough's I've ever had, just preferred lahay's more.
