prices are cheap. Is this an indication of the food quality there as well?

service is terrible.... food isn't worth waiting over an hour to eat lunch. my buddy said the burger tasted like it was steamed. i tried the chicken and waffles since they "are the best in B.R." and they were meh at best...

Haven't been in a few years, but last time I went the gumbo was average at best as was the jamb. The green beans were good, but not good enough for me to go back.

Think you are confusing with Boil and Roux on Coursey Blvd.

Been a few years, but Rice and Roux was OK, nothing special, but a decent lunch spot.
