What's the one cooking contest show you could hold your own?

With all the cooking contest shows, Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, etc, what's the one show you think you would do fairly well on? I don't mean win (but would be a bonus), but at least hold your own against the chefs on the show.

I think mine would be "Chopped".

Desserts would kill me on chopped.

I'd have to learn how to use the ice cream maker and just make whatever I could out of the ingredients as ice cream.

In a thread you started a little while I mentioned Hell's Kitchen. I could hold my own on that. Chopped deals with some ingredients I've never even heard of and you need to make something with it in 20-30 min. No shot.

Beat Bobby Flay should be the answer for most. Highlight one ingredient then make what you make the best.

Honestly, none. I just don't really have the culinary depth as far as different ingredients go to just mash up a great meal in short time. I can cook 15-20 meals well but I'm shite out of luck if I'm trying to impress a bunch of highfalutin judges.

I remember on the 2nd or 3rd season of Hell's Kitchen, they had a cook from Waffle House (or something similar). She did quite well, made it through 3 or 4 rounds. When she was cut, Ramsey told her he will pay for her culinary school.

She didn't win, but she held her own. It was simply lack of knowledge to go any further.

That's why Beat Bobby Flay is the answer. It's a lot more approachable for the average home cook. The first round, Bobby picks an ingredient that you have to center a dish around. 9/10 times, it's something you're familiar with. Second round, you pick the dish

MasterChef you would at least be competing against other home cooks so Im going to go with that one. Would prob still get arse kicked but that'd be the best shot if the challenges fell right.

None. I don't cook that quickly and I'm not that creative on my feet. Cooking contests would be stressful. I'm not a professional cook, so I'm not interested nor am I that good.

I saw him do jambalaya on the throwdown show. Jesus h Christ it was terrible. I'd eat the hell out of it, but it wasn't jambalaya.

BBQ Pitmasters. I doubt I'd win but I don't think I would embarrass myself either.

If there was ever a rice and gravy show, I would be a contender.

Chopped home cooks edition, or whatever the one without the pro chefs is. With other non-chefs, prepping the exotic proteins balances out a little.

I think I could do well on Guy's Grocery Games too, as I think well on my feet.

That would be one of the hardest IMO. You control so little.

I think I'd do best at Guy's Grocery Games.

I would be totally lost with some of the ingredients on Chopped, would be totally lost with some of the crazy shite they do on Cutthroat Kitchen, am nowhere near good enough to cut it on Masterchef.

I've never seen Beat Bobby Flay... so maybe?
