Cooking, drinking and football day. First game is at 7:00 am!!

Starting some ribs at 9:00am for later in the afternoon.
Will have some:
armadillo tails (sausage stuffed jalepenos wrapped in bacon)
Jambalaya egg rolls
Pork n beans
Typical grilling type food (chicken, hot dogs for the kids, deer sausage)

May fry some fish and shrimp if it calls for it.

Oh and Yuengling. Lots of Yuengling. Maybe some bourbon as well.

We don't play until Sunday, but I plan on smoking and making tri-tip tacos. Garnished with avocado, jalapeño, cilantro, tomato, and onion). I'll have it with cilantro rice, and refried beans. And of course...chips, guac, queso, salsa.

Tecate and fresh margaritas will be consumed.

So good I got a down vote for it. And me and my crew always throw down for LSU games, but especially for opening weekend, and most definitely for this opening weekend. The slate of games are awesome.

The down vote is probably for the Yuengling. Too many beer snobs on this board. I like YL. Get a spoon if you don't like it.

Probably lighter fare for the earlier games. I have to squeeze in cutting the grass too, so that will probably be around 8 AM. Going to my parents for the primetime games. Dad's getting steaks, sausage, chicken, and probably even more to put on the grill. Maybe some wings. Plenty of beer and bourbon.

Tagging along to a tailgate in Atlanta for the Georgia/UNC game.

We don't have a whole lot of space to set up a big tailgate so we're focusing more on having a TV than a smoker or grill. So for this weekend it's going to be nugget trays and whatever other people feel like bringing.

With all the corn dog talk, I think I'll make some shrimp corn dogs and some sausage corn dogs. Also some bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with something. Don't know what else, but I will not be cooking during our game. I'm watching.

Friend just brought me a vacuum pack of about 25 fresh doves he killed in Mexico so that is one thing that will get cooked. Not sure what else. May let everyone else do the rest.
