I'm going for lunch today, never been before, and the in-laws are treating us so I can get whatever I want . I know y'all love this place, what are the best things you've had there? What would you recommend?

Why are you laugh at being able to order whatever you want? It's not the French Laundry.

I like the Cassoulet, the potato chips with bleu cheese and they do a nice bread pudding. They need to bump the wine list a bit.

Agree. I do chips n blue cheese w a seafood salad for lunch. Pretty good. Pot roast good too, just heavy. Their RBR is not good, however.

If I'm living on a limited budget and see this meal as a big treat, I'm definitely getting that over pot roast.

Everything I've had there was good...but you need to go back during Mardi Gras season and order the king cake bread pudding for dessert.
