I paid 3.19 a pound this week but it was in St. Charles Parish.

I usually get them from Shoal Creek, but i agree with you, they aren't the best. I'll check out St. Roch

You can't just compare cost because it depends on the size. I buy at 3.00/# live but they are all giants. You can eat the claws of each one.
Others can be bought at 2.00/# live but much smaller.
If you are at a sit down place I would think they would double the cost to boil.

I don't know about boiled but crawfish house in Houma has live for 79 cents

Local bar here in Shreveport did some for $3 a lb...but you gotta randomly be there on a weekend when the when of the patron's who basically lives there feels like boiling.

The Crawfish App updates every vendor on Friday morning with the weekend prices. A lot of vendors update more often too.
