My girls wants some good ole jambalaya on Friday night. Of course the red wine will be flowing, but what are some apps or other stuff I could cook with the meal?

Jamabalaya is plenty filling and labor intensive for on its own, don't get me wrong. Just wanting to add a little lagniappe to the meal.

Thanks, FADB!

A salad with mixed greens, red and yellow bell peppers, and red onion. (All sliced thin). Any type of vinaigrette will work but I like trader joes goddess dressing.

Eta: and white beans

Women love a nice green salad.

You could do a spinach strawberry salad with feta and roasted pecans

Well I guess I don't have to mention white beans.

I like a good French bread toasted with some butter and herbs.
