What kind of coffee do you use for your Keurig?

I just got myself a Keurig, on prime day, as I'm tired of making a whole pot of coffee for myself and only drinking a cup or two.

If I got expensive/good coffee beans from somewhere will I be able to get the full taste of it by brewing it through a keurig? Is it worth it? Or should I just use the pre-made pod things?

What is your go-to coffee?

... drink too much for a Keurig.

ETA: who down votes leaving the house with a 20oz cup and making the one before that all at the same time.... must be a 8oz cup kind of gal.

I can't do Keurig anymore. I got a taste of plastic once and have tasted it ever since.

I bought an Aeropress.

Wife gets the San Francisco Bay k-cups. Hazelnut I think. They are good. They have a paper bottom, so basically no plastic exposure.

I still prefer my nespresso.

I have both and these 2 brewing devices can't be further apart in similarities.

I love my Aeropress, but when i'm heading out the door, i just grab a cup from the Keurig. The Aeropress is a minimum 5-6 minutes, and frankly, i don't have that time in the morning.

Most of the Community cups are good. I love the Mardi Gras King Cake ones and always buy them when I find them.

I also bought a 6-pack of the filters where you can add your own grounds. And they can go in the dishwasher. I keep a few of them at work, and bring them home on the weekend to wash them. I just rinse them out in the sink here at work and then toss them in my gym bag to take home to wash. It tastes a little better than the K cups, but they are more to deal with. I just keep a bag in my desk with a spoon and fill it near the top and run it like normal in the Keurig.

Angelino's

Thank me later. Colombian Nariño and Kona Blend are my go-to's. They have a 14-cup sample pack for $6 you can start with. That's what I did. Found 2 I liked and ordered those. 48 cups for $24 w/free shipping. Not too bad, and tastes much better than any of the big brands you'll find in supermarkets. Really good coffee actually. IMO. Out of the 14 that I got within the original sample pack, I can't say that I hated any of them.

All the Peets k cups are good, but especially like the Major Dickason's Blend.

I drink three cups a day from my Kuerig and I can't tell any "funny" tastes. I find that chances are much greater at a restaurant or at the office of having a sup par tasting coffee.

Community, Starbucks Breakfast blend, Green Mountain and Paul Newman's Own all stand out in my head as good. I've had mine for several years and tried literally a 100 different brands.

I like strong coffee and use Emeril's Big Easy Bold.

Hubby likes medium roast and uses Community Breakfast Blend.

I use one of these and put a used k-cup with all the insides taken out. Produces a stronger brew, in my opinion. The white k- cup goes into the grey part, then the basket with coffee grinds of your choice.
