What is a solid cut that wont break the bank? or should i just stick with a ribeye?

Don't matter the price. If you want beef, you want ribeye or ribeye cap.

I cook sirloins and London broils because I like the flavor. Just don't go past medium rare and they are good.

True, that's what I buy when I'm grilling just steaks however, they are cheaper than Ribeyes, T-Bones, and Filets.
Let me re-do my answer.
Franks Super Market sells a cut called a Patio Steak. Everytime I grill I buy a pack. They are only about 3-4oz each. You get 4-6 in a pack for $5.
I like them because the have a good flavor, they not very big so you get to eat other things when you grilling besides steak, good value and they cook really quick, only 2-3 minutes for Medium.
They also make great beef fajitas.

I think it is more important to choose at least choice meat than to pick a certain cut. Choice is noticeably better than select, regardless of cut.

Hard to beat the taste and price of sirloin.

Never had a chuck eye steak. I saw some in Rouses yesterday. I've made roasts out of them, but these were small steak size cuts of chuck. Wasn't sure what to think of those.

When the chuck ends the ribeye begins...

Wait for a sale and then buy your ribeyes in bulk and vacuum seal them. I got some prime ribeye for $10/lb last weekend. Should've bought more, but point being you can find them for good price if you're patient. I have had no issues with quality when freezing up to 6 months.

Not sure why but this made me chuckle.
Can someone tell me where I can find a tri tip around BR? I'm guessing Whole Foods? Haven't looked actually.
