Sounds like you're hanging out with the wrong crowd.

"hanging out" and knowing them are bit different

I'll give an example:

Last year for my company's Thanksgiving lunch, I brought deer pate. Eat that on a cracker with some pepper jelly and it's legit.

Maybe 3 people tried it though once I told them that pate was made from liver.

I'd try it for sure, it sounds good.

I had a coworker bring some chicken liver popper thing to last year's Thanksgiving. I tried it, but it was terrible. Just terrible.

Well he doesn't drive a truck, he owns about a dozen of them and runs them out of an office in his backyard, and yes he is in my family.

Oh! You only eat weird/new shite and dislike home utilitarian style cooking that families have to survive on.

I love me some simple trashy food, too (that's a whole new thread). This isn't even about foods I like or don't like. This is about those things I see people do that just bug me for some reason, it's not a choice.

I just though of one more:

When people don't brown their meat before making a gravy.

I get it now. Maybe edit the title.

I seriously go bananas in the inside when I see people holding a utensil like it is a shove!

I just look at those people and wonder how they eat at home if that's what they do in public

It does seem that snob threads bring out the anti-snob snobs.
