I'm bored sipping on Gatorade spiked with vodka. The kid is out getting her nails done for 8th grade promotion this week. I'm going to reverse sear two prime filets, boil some potatoes and roast some carrots. Nestle drumsticks for dessert.

I did some divine filets last night. Looks good Billy.

This evening, I'm making fish tacos from a few slabs of Redfish I had in the freezer. I may post some pics later if they turn out ok.

I threw these together this afternoon.

One neighbor bringing burgers. Another bringing chicken. Another bringing sides. Other neighbor bringing desert. We always over do it on Sunday, but it's game night and why the hell not.

Wife and I went to Lago in Mandeville. I had the barbacoa. It was delicious. Nice, strong margarita too.

Not the best smothered chicken I've ever made, but better than it deserves to be. Gravy over cauli rice.

I take no credit for tonight's dinner.

Similar to you, my wife prepared a very good chicken sauce piquant, which I ate without rice, and a side of roasted Brussels sprouts.

As creative and health-conscious as she is, my wife is not remotely interested in trying cauliflower rice

You could make it yourself? (And I mean that in the nicest way.) A bag of frozen cauli rice and a skillet are all you need.

I have my own quirks about it, it has to be just so. And to fool myself even more, I revert to my childhood and have to have the meat mixed in with the rice and gravy. Don't tell Gris, but the salad gets mixed in, too. Only then does it seem like I'm eating actual rice and gravy.

We have a house full of kids. We cooked hot dogs. And later on we will camp out and roast marshmallows.

That's my solo hiking tent on the right.

Looks delicious Billy. I did a blooming onion for an app. Then a garden salad, ranch style beans and bbq country style rills. Was very pretty, trust me, too lazy to post pics. Fighting a rib coma during rain delay
