El Axteca Tex Mex joint, here we come.

Had two tacos al pastor and one lingua with avocado jalapeño salsa. Good stuff.

I smoked some beef ribs, roasted some potato wedges with garlic and olive oil. A couple ribs had some tug but wife was starving so pulled them about 45 min to early.

Hate to toot my own horn but this was my best effort yet. I normally like a thick roux but I went thinner with seafood and it was great. The stock makes all the difference. Love the jumbo shrimp! Can't wait till tomorrow for lunch

I want that bowl of seafood gumbo right now. I want another bowl after that bowl. I especially like that it's not thick such that it won't overpower the delicate and delicious seafood flavor. I'm salivating.

ETA: I would add a sprinkle of file' and chopped green onions.
