The wife (MHNBPF) made dirty rice.

This is my second helping. I have no idea what happened to the first helping.

The local Ralphs (Kroger) recently started an in house dry aging program. Gonna see what thats all about. Sides probably will be baked potatoes and asparagus.

It's Basmati. About all I use, unless we are making Risotto or sticky rice - also mostly because I buy it in 18 pound bags from Sam's.

Oh and because I like the flavor.

Pork tenderloin, mac & cheese, green beans, corn on the cob courtesy of mrs coater

She tried a new recipe for the pork which called for marinating it in orange juice. Turned out really good. Definitely could taste the citrus

Leftover hen, sausage, smoked turkey neck, & okra gumbo. Dropped some eggs in there too. Damn fine eating, nothing like leftover gumbo.
