Not sure about that question.

I wanted a slightly sweet dressing because that salad should've had apples or strawberries or dried cranberries in it. I thought caramelizing the grape tomatoes would compensate, but not enough. The dressing recipe I sort of followed called for honey, so I decided to use a packet of Splenda in its place.

I have no idea if that answered your question.

Yeah, sorry. The word "not" should not have been in there. So, you want an oil based "sweeter" type dressing?

1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 pinch kosher salt
1/2 jar Tabasco jalapeño pepper jelly

Whisk it up.

The pepper jelly gives it the sweetness. Hope this helps.

Wow. Sounds delicious. Bookmarked it.

I'll have to save it for a cheat day.

. I know, but it does yield a whole lot of dressing. So, per serving it may not be "too" bad.
