I take it they're not know for their cajun dishes?

Avocado and tomato salad with balsamic and oil.

Known for Cajun
Really good Cajun, poboys, gumbo, crawfish, fish, etouffee, redbeans, bla, bla, bla.
However I wanted a burger and a beer tonight and Dobie makes the best burger in Meridian (newspaper local "best of Meridian" readers contest), so I had a burger.
His culinary skills came to Meridian from the Offshore oilrig cooking bidness, so he is top notch at making vittles.
Anyhow, I just about always eat exactly what I want, and I always do when I am buying it, so I had a Cajun burger.

What makes his Cajun burger, and where is he in town?

Dobie's
On Poplar Springs Drive and North Hills in Broadmoor Shopping Center, below the Walgreen's Drugstore. Around corner from the Barbershop and Liquor store.
Across the street from MugShot's.
Good burger probably 1/2 pound patty on Ciabatta Bun. Cooked on a flattop with cajun seasoning. Too much for me to eat anymore but very good burger. The wife and I usually share, but tonight I ate the whole thing.
If you go, try a half Poboy with a bowl of gumbo or RedBeans at $8.50 (I think). Chalkboard looked good tonight, but I wanted a burger and can't remember what the chalkboard offered.
My house is not that far away (maybe a mile), so yell loudly as you go in and maybe I'll drop by.

You're right balls! I need to give them all their glory. GREAT northern beans really sent the dish over the top.
